First We will show you how to download and install wordpress on your own domain. Then show you how to setup a free wordpress blog. There are two ways to install wordpress on your domain One you install from your Domain Cpanel using Fantastico. When installing Wordpress from Cpanel you do not have create a MYSQL database. The other is a manual download and install. The first way is the fastest and the easiest way. The second way you will have to know how to create a MYSQL Database. We will cover both methods in this tutorial. Starting with the Easy way first. |

First login to your cpanel by going to http://yourdomain.com/cpanel if your domain is net -- info or biz then use that instead of com. You will need your domain user name and password. If you already have stuff uploaded to your domain then have in mind the name of a directory for your blog. You can name it blog or if wpb or any name will do as LONG as your remember what you are naming it. If your domain is new or your intend to have the Blog as your main site then you will just install the blog in the main directory of public_html. Search Engines like blogs especially Wordpress Blogs. |
